1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or enrolling in any Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to this Agreement.

You must be at least 18 years old to enrol in our Services. By proceeding, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Services

Praxis Hall provides continuing education short courses, an annual course catalogue pass and bespoke departmental cohort programmes for legal professionals. Our Services are educational and informational in nature. Nothing in our course content constitutes legal advice, and completion of any course or programme does not confer a professional qualification or licence.

Services are available to users worldwide, though content is primarily developed with Singapore and common-law practice contexts in mind. We make no representation that specific content meets the CPD requirements of any particular professional body outside Singapore.

4. Accounts and Enrolment

Access to course materials requires registration with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share account access with any other person.

For departmental cohort programmes, the organisation's designated representative manages enrolment for all team members and is responsible for ensuring that participants are appropriately briefed on these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts where there is evidence of misuse, sharing of credentials or breach of these Terms.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Services in a manner consistent with their educational purpose. In particular, you agree not to:

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, recordings, handouts, exercises and other content provided through our Services are the intellectual property of Praxis Hall or our content contributors, and are protected under applicable Singapore copyright law.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content you are enrolled in for the duration of your access period, for the sole purpose of your own professional development. No other rights are granted.

Content you contribute to discussion boards remains yours, but by posting you grant Praxis Hall a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content within the platform for the purposes of supporting participant discussion.

7. Fees and Payment

All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Current pricing is:

Payment is required before access is granted. We accept payment by the methods displayed at checkout. Prices may be updated from time to time; the price at the time of purchase applies.

Refund policy: Requests for a full refund of a single course enrolment submitted within seven days of purchase and before the course start date will be considered. After the course has commenced, we do not offer refunds for individual enrolments. For annual passes and cohort programmes, refund requests should be directed to [email protected] and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Course-Specific Terms

Each course runs for a defined period (typically four to six weeks). Access to recorded lectures and the discussion board is provided for the course window plus thirty days after close. We do not extend access periods except in documented exceptional circumstances.

Participation records are issued to individuals who have engaged with the course materials and completed the written exercise. They are not academic certificates or professional credentials.

Annual pass holders receive access to all courses published during their twelve-month membership. Access does not extend to courses published after membership expiry unless renewed.

For cohort programmes, the scope and content of the programme is agreed with the department lead before commencement. Material changes to the agreed scope require written agreement from both parties.

9. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of course materials but do not represent that they are complete, current or suitable for any particular professional purpose.

Course content reflects the knowledge and perspective of the contributing practitioners and is not a substitute for qualified legal advice. Praxis Hall does not hold a legal practice licence and is not a law firm.

We do not guarantee any specific outcome from participation in our Services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Praxis Hall's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services.

We are not liable for disruptions to the platform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, hosting provider failures or force majeure events.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Praxis Hall and its staff from any claim, loss or damage arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, without refund. You may terminate your enrolment at any time; refund eligibility is governed by Section 7 above.

On termination, your right to access course materials ceases. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and dispute resolution survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute will first be referred to informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty days, it will be submitted to the courts of Singapore, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
